    Expressions of Interest (EOI) are sought for the development and operation of a high quality tourist park that preserves the environmental, cultural and historical values of the site while integrating an appropriate mix of accommodation types, such as recreational vehicle (RV), camping and glamping.

    Parties with experience in developing and operating tourist parks (or similar) are invited to submit proposals, including but not limited to, a preliminary business case, concept plan and demonstration of success in the delivery, management and operation of a similar park. Council is ideally seeking an operator willing to invest in infrastructure that will also benefit the broader community – such as water play equipment and connections to nearby recreational trails and public facilities.

    Australian Catholic University (ACU) was established in 1990 through incorporation as a public company limited by guarantee, incorporated pursuant to the Corporations Act. ACU is a public university, funded by the Commonwealth Government, and is open to students and staff of all religious beliefs.

    ACU has a number of research institutes and four (4) faculties: Education and Arts, Health Sciences, Law and Business and Theology and Philosophy.

    The University has approximately 35,000 students and 2,500 staff spread across seven (7) campuses: Melbourne, Ballarat, Strathfield, North Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, and Adelaide. Headquarters are located in North Sydney.

    The purpose of this EOI is to inform ACU as to: 


    Potential technical solutions that may be available in the marketplace to extend and complete ACU’s existing enrolment registration system to offer a way for students to plan enrolment and for students and staff to easily track the path to completion. In addition, we are interested in opportunities to improve the user experience of selecting units.
    Potential commercial arrangements that may be possible to deliver the scope in an iterative approach (multiple smaller releases).
    Potential suppliers who may be best equipped to provide effective solution(s) that can meet the needs of ACU.

    The Council invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from organisations and individuals to operate a new café in the Ulverstone Cultural Precinct building (currently under construction).

    The Ulverstone Cultural Precinct development will provide a modern hub for local and regional tourism and public education. It will co-locate the Ulverstone Visitor Centre and local History Museum with a new science centre, planetarium, gallery, and workshops for local arts, crafts and cultural makers.

    A prominent position on the building ground floor is to be developed as a café or similar contemporary food and beverage enterprise.

    The Council now invites EOI from interested parties, to identify a preferred operator for the café enterprise. We are receptive to applications from any interested parties, including commercial operators, community organisations, and social enterprises.

    An appropriate tenancy and operations agreement will be negotiated with the preferred operator, who will have opportunity for input into the interior design and fit-out of the space.
